The Pfanner Cup is held each year in the spirit of Dave Pfannenstein who sadly passed away in April 2020. Dave Served as the Executive Director of the Vermont Golf Association and also was an influential member of the Vermont PGA.
Each year, a team of the top golfers from the Vermont Golf Association and the Vermont PGA face-off to raise money to benefit the VGA and VTPGA’s Scholarship funds.
The 2026 Pfanner Cup will be contested October 4–5 at The Quechee Club in Quechee, Vermont. The two-day competition will feature the Vermont Golf Association taking on the Vermont Chapter of the PGA in a Ryder Cup-style team format.
