Today, the Vermont Golf Association is the authoritative body for golf in the state of Vermont representing more than 8,600 amateur golfers and 62 golf clubs in the state.
The Vermont Golf Association (VGA) is responsible to provide Course Rating service for both Men’s and Women’s Tees on all Golf Courses within the Associations geographical responsibility, which is the State of Vermont. The service is provided to member clubs at no charge. At a minimum each club will be rated once every 10 years.
The 2019 schedule includes 7 courses. The schedule is constructed to complete the rating of 2 courses per month beginning in June and completing in September.

The 2019 Course Rating Team has 24 members, all volunteers, and represent both the Vermont Golf Association (VGA) and the Vermont State Women’s Golf Association (VSWGA). The members hail from all over the state and represent 15 VGA Golf Courses.
